Project Description
An ASP.NET SiteMapProvider driven off of a SharePoint List

A List-Driven SiteMapProvider to drive navigation.

Installation Instructions -
1. stsadm -o addsolution -filename spldsmp.wsp
2. stsadm -o deploysolution -name spldsmp.wsp -immediate -allowgacdeployment
3. Add to web.config inside providers section - <add name="SPListDrivenSiteMapProvider" description="" NavigationType="Global" type="SPLDSMP.SPListDrivenSiteMapProvider, SPLDSMP, Version=, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=77559e256936862f" />
4. Create a list somewhere and add the SPLDSMP content type to it. The SPLDSMP inherits from folder so feel free to nest items inside eachother. Do not use normal items or folder content types.
5. Modify the view to include the three SPLDSMP columns (Node Title, Node Description and Node Navigate Url).
6. Open 12 Hive\Template\Layouts\SPLDSMP.xml and make sure the two configuration parameters are correct.
7. Reset IIS whenever you change the list or configuration file because SharePoint will cache both.
8. Make sure there is read only access to the List for all authenticated users.
